P.I.G Program

 Pig Iron Gym is a fully equipped, mostly nostalgic gym with some modern accents. We offer individual training in a private, organized, clean and sanitary environment. You will be trained in proper form and technique on both machines and free weights. The classic weights and machines are of the vintage that built some of the most sculpted physiques and aesthetically pleasing bodies of the 1980's and 1990's. You don’t have to be a professional athlete or fitness fanatic to enjoy and benefit from this program. Pig Iron Gym is a full-service facility where Law Enforcement officers can create the kind of bodies that neophyte body builders aspire and dream about. All you need is a passion to want a fit & balanced body. Our target clients are primarily first responders at every stage of their life who are striving for a healthy and active life.  

 

To accommodate your needs, schedule and budget, the P.I.G. program offers a variety of programs ranging from "effective" to "exceeds expectations."  Depending on the program you choose, your body fat, body weight and measurements will be monitored throughout the program to ensure positive results. The P.I.G. program is an overall health and fitness program, with a focus on nutrition, training, recovery and faith. Adhering to this program will yield you results of lower body fat and increased muscle and strength. You will see a reduction in LDL cholesterol, triglycerides, Cortisol levels (stress) and blood pressure will normalize. This program is beneficial for the "active-duty" athlete to the retired home body and everyone in between who wants to increase their overall wellbeing and quality of life. As it is written in one of the most important documents in the history of the United States: "all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." A strong healthy body enhances "Life," "Liberates" you from the constraints of weakness and allows you to pursue what makes you "Happy." As we are all "created equal" the Pig Iron Gym personal training program pricing structure reflects an equal value between your time and the gym training program rate. After passing training, you can choose to work out on your own at Pig Iron Gym, a financial donation is required at the time of each workout. Improved health, fitness and a better quality of life is now a financially viable option.

Our first responders risk their health and safety on a daily basis, and they do so thanklessly over a decades long career. It's Pig Iron Gym's mission to invest in the safety of our community by investing in the health of our first responders by making them a priority. Whether you are active duty or retired, your health and fitness matters. Our communities rely on our first responders to keep its citizens safe. We need to ensure our first responders are able to perform optimally in order to keep themselves safe and the people in the communities they serve safe.

 

Maintaining a sharp mind and physically fit body is especially crucial for the retired Law Enforcement officer. Just as you and I can identify an off-duty police officer through certain characteristics, such as physical appearance, demeanor and body language. Criminals are just as adept in identifying these individual nuances. In the eyes of the criminals, regardless of being retired, you are still the police and therefore a potential target.  Even though you are retired and no longer an active-duty Law Enforcement officer, due to your many years of experience, training and exposure to criminals, you are still a protector.

 

Pig Iron Gym stands firmly to the “right,” ethically, morally and politically. As stated in the Bible, “A wise man’s heart inclines to the right, but the heart of a fool to the left.” Ecclesiastes 10:2.  If our principles and values are in anyway offensive, this is most likely not the program or gym for you.
